Ultimate Security runs entirely on your own server. We have zero access to your security logs, firewall rules, login attempts, or any other data from your WordPress installations.
By downloading, installing, activating, or using the Plugin (free or premium), or by visiting the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using both immediately.
Definitions
- We / Us / Our – Ultimate Security
- Plugin – Ultimate Security for WordPress
- You / User / Site Owner – anyone who installs or uses the Plugin
- License – valid key for premium features and support
License & Permitted Use
- The core Plugin is free and licensed under the same GPL as WordPress.
- Premium features require an active license purchased from our Site. Usage limits follow your chosen tier (Single, Multi-Site, Agency, etc.).
- You may not resell or redistribute license keys except under Agency plans for legitimate client work where you perform the development.
- We do not support nulled, cracked, or unauthorized copies. Using them violates these Terms and exposes your site to risks.
Your Responsibilities
You are 100% responsible for your websites. The Plugin is a tool — security is your job. Specifically, you must:
- Keep WordPress core, themes, plugins, and Ultimate Security updated
- Maintain regular, off-site backups
- Configure the Plugin correctly for your needs
- Comply with all laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and maintain your own privacy policy for site visitors
- Ensure your sites do not host illegal content or activities
What We Do Not Do
- We never collect, store, or see any data from your websites.
- The Plugin contains zero telemetry, tracking, or “phone home” functionality.
- We are not responsible for any security breach, data loss, or downtime on your sites.
Payments, Renewals & Refunds
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store credit card details.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
- First-time purchases have a 60-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Renewals are non-refundable.
- You may not use our payment processors for any business or products prohibited by Stripe or PayPal (illegal goods, fraud schemes, counterfeit items, adult services, weapons, etc.).
Intellectual Property
We own the WP Ultimate Security name, logo, and all premium code. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin according to your plan. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the premium portions.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Plugin and Site are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” with no warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Plugin will block every threat or that your site will remain unhacked. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Plugin, violation of these Terms, or any activity on your websites.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license or account for violations. Premium features stop immediately. You may cancel your subscription anytime.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware.
